In January 1971, eight believers began meeting in the home of Gene Morton to study the Bible independent of any denomination. By May of that year, the group had decided to form an evangelical church. We are a church under the umbrella of the Evangelical Free Church of America which has the following statements of faith such as God, Bible, the human condition, Jesus Christ, the work of Christ, the holy spirit, the church, Christian living, Christ's return, and response and eternal destiny.
